In wedding situations, I´m used to handle stress and usually I have a lot of time for preparation and location scouting.  But this time I was booked less then two weeks in front of the wedding. And to make the gig perfect, I was booked for Copenhagen. A city at the other end of Europe which I never visited before.

Within few hours the flights and hotel were booked and I started with the preparation.

For the weddings within Austria I do not have weight limitations and my car is fully loaded with all kind of gear and backup gear. This time I had to stay within the limits of the airline companies and to configure my gear for the lightest but still redundant equipment. All preparation done I was looking forward to meet the couple.

Finally, a day before the wedding I arrived in Copenhagen and met Tanya and Sören at the hotel for a drink. We talked about the time schedule and did some small talk.

The wedding day was really relaxed, I photographed the getting ready, then we walked to the city hall and finally boarded the small private boat for a sightseeing and photo shooting tour. I enjoyed the day with this lovely couple a lot, at the end it was the most relaxed wedding I ever used to photograph.

Beside the honour to have captured Tanyas and Sörens wedding, I felt in love with Copenhagen and the lovely people there.
